What’s in my bag? I’ve never done one of these sorts of posts before, but as summer rears her hot and humid head, I find myself loading my purse down with essentials to make it through the workday and weekend. So you might ask, how do I pack my tote with everything I need and not weigh my arm down?
Enter the perfect summer tote by Hudson+Bleecker. The Atlas Blue Jetsetter tote can easily be dressed up or down; I can carry it to work or use it as a beach bag (it’s fully lined!). Just a few weeks ago in Galveston I used my H+B tote for a beach bag during the day, emptied it out later, (the sand shook out so easily – a usually major peeve of mine) and filled it with necessities for the evening out. And like I said last week, blues have been my jam lately; I think it’s quite evident by the tote color and my accessories inside, wouldn’t you agree? Another thing so wonderful about this tote is the straps – not too wide, not too thin and they don’t dig in to my shoulder like some totes can do when they get filled to the brim.
I never leave home without my trusty Graphic Image wallet and planner; keeping track of the blog, my 9-5 job and the personal life can be quite a task at times. During the summer I am never without a wrap or shawl. I am always cold, but especially when temps outside are toasty, restaurants and shops are most often frigid inside. Lately I’ve been carrying one of my gorgeous Tuli Designs scarves – doubles as a fun bag accessory and a layer of warmth when I need it. Can’t forget the best organizational tools – TRUFFLE pouches, my iPad or business cards.

What a fun post!! I love that bag, so fun that it has those little cut outs!
I always carry and extra layer with me, either a wrap or a light sweater. Even today it is 80 + degrees but I just hate when I am inside somewhere and get cold in the AC. My bag is always full of pouches like your Truffle one, so key for keeping everything organized!
