There was something so enthralling about this street art, that when my photographer, Lauren, suggested we snap some shots in front of it, I was all for it. I’m normally not one for skulls and crossbones, but coupled with this look there’s a definite edgy, cool vibe that you don’t see too often here on Girl Wonder Life. And quite frankly, I’m okay with stepping outside the lines here and there. I mean, life would be way boring otherwise, right? Houstonians, have you heard of the restaurant Ox Heart? This is on the side of their building, for point of reference. I still haven’t been but have heard raves about it – see this review from the NY Times and this Chron article back from 2012. I definitely need to try it, but have heard it’s pretty much impossible to get a table, but I digress. For now, I’ll just continue to dream of the days where opened toed shoes, sunny days and lightweight jackets were possible!
