Blogger gal-pal, Emily of Dear Serendipity, and I thought it’d be fun to share with y’all our own styled looks for a ‘Galentine’ party we perhaps would be attending if we lived in the same city! Valentine’s Day is just around the corner (check out my gift guide for the gals here), and whether or not you’re attached doesn’t mean you can’t have a little fun with your girlfriends! Bring on the hostess gifts and yummy treats and celebrate Heart Day in style!

Top: Nicole Miller Artelier (grey version) // Skirt: Kate Spade (no longer available, but saw at Nordstrom Rack recently!) // Shoes: Jimmy Choo (budget-friendly) // Purse: Stella McCartney // Earrings: Kendra Scott // Necklace: Patty Clarke designs c/o // Bracelets: Alexis Bittar (old, similar); Loren Hope // Champagne and Glasses: Veuve Clicquot; Neiman Marcus (set of 6 flutes here)
What better way to treat the hostess than with a bottle of champagne and dainty, gold-gilded flutes?! I actually received these as a gift from my Big, asking me to be in her wedding! The next best hostess gift in my opinion is fresh flowers and Emily hit that out of the park! I’m slowly but surely jumping on the crop top wagon (last seen here), this Nicole Miller Artelier top (similar version at $77)Â has become a go-to for layering and the like.
Meanwhile, I’m off to NYC today. Time to put on my big girl pants and brave the frigid temps and have some fun at MBFW! Follow along via Instagram @alexcarreno_
