Trench: J.Crew Factory // Dress: J.Crew // Heels: Christian Louboutin // Purse: Reed Krakoff (newest style – RK40 satchel) // Sunglasses: Celine // Necklace: Patty Clarke Designs c/o // Rings: David Yurman; Mom’s passed-down puzzle ring // Watch: Michele
I’d say this entire outfit is one of those looks that is a go-to closet staple. Each piece is a closet staple on its own, but paired together it’s seriously a rather classic look. I have a red Burberry trench, but I’ve always wanted a classic tan trench with the belt and found one for a complete steal at J.Crew Factory (only a few sizes left; here is the regular J.Crew version). A trench is definitely something that every gal needs in her wardrobe; throw it on over a dress and some heels and go from work to evening.
This classic shift, cap-sleeve dress is forever a must in my wardrobe. The cut is just perfect for my body shape and with my nude Louboutin pumps, its simply effortlessly classic. In my opinion dressing for work should be an easy task and no brainer, if you have the right pieces in your wardrobe (the classics and must-haves & not always at a break-the-bank price; my dress and trench combined are less than $300 with current sales and promos!), then you won’t have a hard time getting ready in the morning!
