Blogger bestie Emily, of Dear Serendipity, and I are back for our installment of 2 bloggers // one piece today! We’re showing you how we styled our white converse sneakers with a dress for summer. I absolutely love this series of ours, and you can check out some of our previous posts together here and here.

Dress: Choies (only $24.99!!) // Sneakers: Converse // Bag: Stella McCartney // Sunglasses: Prada // Watch: Michele // Wrap Bracelet: Tory Burch for Fitbit // Bracelets: Kendra Scott c/o; David Yurman // Earrings: Jude Frances // Rings: Kendra Scott c/o
I love a great deal – and this printed shift dress is a steal! At just $25, I’d say this dress may just have been the find of the summer. Plus, in case you haven’t noticed I have a mild obsession with sneakers and dresses (last seen here).
I’m not going to lie, I was a little skeptical about the quality of this Choies dress considering the price. For me, there’s something about checking out the quality of a fabric and piece in person versus ordering online.
However, I can tell you that this dress paid for itself in one wear. I’ve received so many compliments on it’s abstract print and chic style; so perfect for summer and the heat!
I jumped on the Converse bandwagon (I guess got back on it, my last pair existed in my wardrobe circa 2003) earlier this summer for my trip to Charleston where I knew we’d be walking a lot. I wanted a pair of sneakers that were simple and classic, and above all else, could be worn with regular clothes.
Emily and I took two different prints, but with a simple, white pair of Converse sneakers, dressed down our looks for running around on a day full of errands or tossing on for travel. Do you have a pair of go-to sneakers that you can wear regularly? If so, how do you wear them? Happy Friday friends and thanks for reading!
