Believe it or not y’all I used to dress super preppy. I had that prep vibe going on in middle school and early high school where I popped my collar (thanks Gossip Girl) and thought wearing Lacoste polos and grosgrain bows in my hair was the epitome of cool. Obviously I’ve grown out of that prep phase, but that doesn’t mean I like a simple prep look from time to time.

Enter Duffield Lane, the epitome of classic clothes, versatile and super wearable for the modern gal who, perhaps looks to Jackie O or Kate Middleton for inspiration… (wink, wink). I love a great shirt dress and y’all this dress takes the cake. So comfortable and easy to wear! I highly recommend, plus once the Texas weather begins to cooperate I can actually wear my super cute tennis sweater as opposed to tossing it over my shoulders in anticipation of cooler temps (aka inside stores and restaurants).

I wanted to modernize the classic prep look a little with converse sneakers and a great bag. This GiGi New York convertible crossbody clutch has been a life saver. It is one of the best clutches I’ve come across with a zippered closure, multiple pockets and detachable strap. Highly recommend!
