Transitioning a Sleeveless Dress for the Holidays

I admit I have a lot of sleeveless dresses in my closet, more than my fair share and nearly not enough dresses with long-sleeves. So when it comes to dressing up for holiday celebrations, parties or get-togethers, I tend to wear a coat or bring a shawl to wear over my uncovered arms. However, I recently discovered the perfect way of transitioning a sleeveless dress into a wearable look for cool temperatures. Layering one of my go-to Equipment silk blouses underneath.

How could one not gravitate towards the color and print of this dress?
