I’m headed to California this weekend and I cannot tell you how excited I am for the cooler weather! This lace-up shirtdress will be making its way in my suitcase along with the faux leather vest topper. Both pieces I picked up from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and will be staples in my transitional wardrobe for months to come.
This lace-up shirtdress has been so popular that it’s been selling out left and right. Fortunately Nordstrom has been restocking it whenever they get more sizes, so run don’t walk!
It also comes in a pretty olive green shade. I actually wanted to go for that shade initially, however I’ve realized more and more that olive just doesn’t really suit my skin tone. Note to self, this dress actually runs a bit big, I am wearing an extra-small.
I have two trusty leather jackets, but I love the idea of a vest for transition into cooler temperatures this coming fall. This faux leather vest is on sale for under $60; a steal if you ask me!
Each of these staple pieces could be dressed up or down, with casual sneakers now or suede peep toe booties for fall.
