Elbow Patch Sweater

Good morning, y’all! Not sure about you, but one of my favorite things to do is travel to new cities and places. Last week I spent a few days in Charlottesville, Virginia, attempting to chase the beginnings of fall. Let me just tell you, I fell in love with the charming spot, and will definitely be sharing more to come. But during the trip, I picked up this darling elbow patch sweater and know it’ll be a steady fall style staple.

Not only did we venture to different vineyards and restaurants, but we also checked out some local shopping in Charlottesville. One of our stops included Country Club Prep, quite frankly a store basically made for me. Essentially all preppy labels, think Barbour, Sail to Sable, Southern Tide, all under one roof.

Y’all know I love my , but I really don’t get a chance to break it out until the holidays and winter months (last seen here and here). But a new to me brand carried at Country Club Prep, is Dubarry of Ireland. Let’s just say when I saw this elbow patch sweater by the brand, it was love at first sight.

I can already envision multiple ways I’ll be wearing this sweater, including my new , buttoned up with a pair of or layered under a heavier jacket. Even better, Dubarry is a bit more price friendly than Barbour, which I can always get behind!
