I love this outfit. Peeps, it’s seriously hot in Houston – I mean hot to the point that you drip sweat the minute you step outside. And this ensemble is just way cool. I mean, it’s got that California cool fashion vibe that I envy on girls whenever I visit the state. Enter Brooke Feather, a newer boutique to the Houston-area, down off of West Gray, where California cool meets Texas and is super awesome at doing so!
Usually maxi-like skirts never fall correctly on me, but the fact that this striped skirt is a bit shorter than a maxi falling at the perfect length for my petite, 5’3″ self. You might notice, it’s a tad bit see-through, but I felt like I could get away with it when I tucked in the tee. P.S., have you heard of Lemlem?! I hadn’t until now, but I absolutely love their gauzy cover-ups, so fun for summer!
I would definitely wear these pieces together or separate in multiple different ways. The muscle tank is perfect with a pair of cut off shorts or knotted with printed bikini bottoms and I’m all about a great bucket bag and this one by Alexandra de Curtis is simply adorable!
