While in Dubai, I had the pleasure of meeting some local Emirati fashion industry professionals. ClutchIt_ae was an Instagram find, and it was great to get to meet with the gal behind the brand, Dilara over coffee one morning and learn a little more.
Originally from Kazakhstan, Dilaria now lives in Abu Dhabi. She went to University in the states, so it was fun chatting with her about her stateside experiences as well as what it’s like to be a young entrepreneur in the United Arab Emirates.
Filaria started ClutchIt_ae because she enjoys unusual aspects that come with accessories, bags and clutches. At just 21 years old, she has begun a burgeoning brand that is mostly based off of Instagram, people discovering her through hashtags and word of mouth.
Most of her clutches, such as the three above are acrylic, but some are glass with a pouch inside. If you checkout ClutchIt_ae on Instagram, you’ll see some great cheeky pieces perfect for amping up an outfit.
