Can you believe we are only 11 days out from Christmas? Where has the time gone?! This week is sure to be filled with holiday parties, and I’m Christmas party ready with this look and a present for the hostess!

I usually stay away from full skirts, because at times their fullness can overwhelm my petite frame. I love how this skirt, from my friends at Poshsquare, is both reasonable and has a hi-lo hem detail that alleviates some of the overwhelming-ness the skirt could have if the hem was one length. Seeing a bit more of my legs, with closed toe suede pumps, gives a lengthening effect.

Have you been wearing dresses or skirts and tops to your holiday parties? I love booth looks, as a dress can be reworn and skirts and tops can be mixed together from pieces already in our wardrobes for the perfect holiday party outfit.
