Classic Shirtdress

There’s something so effortless about a well-made and classic cotton shirtdress.

A shirtdress might just be one of my favorite things in my wardrobe. It can be dressed up and down. It also just gives an air of being more dressed up than a t-shirt and shorts during the warmer months.

I love a great woven basket tote, especially for the market – when we go to Santa Barbara every summer I always have brought this tote or something similar to double as both a bag to carry all the flowers and fresh produce we pick up, but also as a beach bag too.

When I first added this basket tote to my closet last year (see here), I really thought it would only have two purposes (the aforementioned…), however lately I’ve been carrying it on a daily basis and it’s a cute and fun alternative to an everyday tote or handbag.
