Well, it’s here, wedding week! I can’t believe our wedding is on Saturday. It’s rather surreal actually. Nonetheless, I thought it fitting to share a dress idea for a winter wedding in this brushstrokes dress.
Not sure about you, but when I’m invited to a wedding, if I don’t have a dress I just love in my closet, I more often than not turn to Rent the Runway for a look that’s exactly what I want but doesn’t break the bank.
Perfect for a winter wedding, the brushstrokes dress is the perfect length for an evening filled with dancing and toasting to the happy, new couple.

Oh and guess what, it has pockets! Literally my favorite thing for weddings or events because I can keep my phone in my pocket to catch any fun Snapchats or photos behind the scenes.
Also, although my heels no longer come in grey, they are still available in black and I suggest if you’re in the market for a comfy pair of heels, you snatch these. I’ve had them for two years now and wear them so often in the fall and winter months. You won’t be disappointed.
