It’s a new week, which means a new outfit! We’re truly feeling the heat and humidity here in Houston now that we’ve hit summer, and I’m working on finding ways to stay cool, yet cute during these dog days of summer. One of my favorite things to pull out for the season is a summer chambray and shorts pairing.

I’m definitely a broken record when it comes to the off the shoulder trend, but I love it and will continue to remain loyal to it throughout the season.
I’m also a huge fan of a great summer chambray and shorts combo. Chambray for summer is one of my favorite things. I wear my , my and now this off the shoulder top in a variety of ways.
I’ve been loving lately (last seen here). These adorable come in a few in tons of colors, and I’m loving them for this warmer weather. I love how they fit, true to size and the color is so fun. The inseam is perfect too, making them not too short or long.
While you can usually find me in my trusty during most summer days, when I’m running errands I love wearing my . Paired with my summer chambray and shorts, they definitely make an outfit more casual but it works for summer, plus I can definitely switch out the shoes to sandals quickly for a night out on the patio or at a neighborhood bar.
