If you’re reading from a Southern or Western state, then you’ll understand that the fall transition doesn’t happen over night. I’ve yet to switch over my closet from summer to winter clothing, so until then I’m transitioning pieces like this floral maxi summer dress for fall.

Have you heard of ? My bridesmaids wore their darling to get ready for my wedding this last January. I knew the brand had pretty options in loungewear and bridesmaids dresses, but I didn’t know they also offered tops, dresses and bottoms for everyday wear.

The heatwave we experienced during our trip to Charlottesville last month was perfect for transitioning this summer dress for fall. I like to top my usually summer outfits with a jacket, like my trusty denim one, or even a cute oversized cardigan.

It was a bit breezy, so this summer dress for fall was perfect for the day at a vineyard. I received so many compliments and I do love a good floral. Plum Pretty Sugar does some great floral prints. Did I mention this dress would make for the perfect beach ? So ready to head back to a tropical spot hopefully soon!
