‘Tis the season for holiday parties. I don’t know about you, but nine time out of ten my mind is usually preoccupied with the other hundred tasks I need to do before and after the holiday party, so I opt to use the ride share app Uber to get me safely to and from holiday parties.

In the days leading up to Christmas, Rick and I like to do something fun with our friends before we get together and celebrate with our families. Even though we live relatively close to the Houston Improv Theatre, I’d rather use UberBLACK to get me there safely and on time.

One of my favorite aspects of using Uber, is the ability to let my husband and friends know my estimated time of arrival and trip status.
Once I’m on a trip, I can share the exact trip status by swiping up in the Uber app, connecting my contacts and clicking share status. Then my friends, and especially my hubby, know the exact time my Uber will be arriving and can see a live map of my ride. Rick really appreciates this aspect in terms of safety.
