I love a good jumpsuit, but as a gal on the shorter side, they’re extremely hard to find, especially off the rack! But I eyed this chic wide-leg jumpsuit at the Nordstrom sale last month and decided to give it a try. Boy, was I surprised that it fit me like a glove, straight off the rack – no alterations needed!

If there was ever a style of jumpsuit that’s pretty much universally flattering, it’s the wide-leg version. Nipped at the waist, especially with the belt I’m wearing, and releasing at the leg, I definitely feel much taller than I actually am when wearing this number.
The all black palette gave me room to play with some fun accessories. I was gifted these gorgeous beaded statement earrings by and Neimans and I’ve been wearing them non-stop. They are a bit on the heavier side, but with the post back they’re more sturdy on my ear lobe. Albeit a splurge, these earrings are showstoppers; people stop me on a regular basis asking about them whenever I wear them!
Let’s not forget to touch on the shoes. Again with the simple black color of the jumpsuit, the sky is the limit when it comes to accessorizing. I’ve had these Sophia Webster shoes for quite a few years now, and while they’re a departure from most of the classic heels I have in my closet, they’re so much fun! Another accessory that always has people stopping and asking more (you can see them in a previous post, here).
