While we may not be experiencing Fall temperatures here in Texas, some of y’all are in other parts of the country. So here I am styling a look that I’ll be wearing time and time again once we get into November and the days cool down. Y’all have loved when I’ve shared budget-friendly finds, so here are a few in this look. This cocoon cardigan is ultra cozy, with some adorable details (the lace backing). Lucky for you, it’s currently on sale, but hurry up because sizes are limited! Easy to wear and long enough to wear with jeans or leggings.
To be honest, I struggle with finding tops to wear underneath cardigans. Â I’m definitely picky, and don’t like pairing plain cotton tees with a plain cardigan. I also try to avoid tops that are bulky, when choosing something to wear underneath a cardigan.
I came across this tee a few weeks ago and took a gamble on it even though the reviews weren’t stellar. It’s a very thin, tissue-like cotton. But, in all honesty that is probably my favorite part of it! Lightweight for the Southern states where fall is barely a cool off and the stripes elevate it a bit more than just a plain old tee. The perfect combination for an outfit, this cocoon cardigan and stripes is an easy-to-wear ensemble.
