Since getting married, Rick and I made a pact with ourselves that we would try to do some sort of date night at least once a month. Whether it’s trying out a new restaurant or going to grab cocktails at a fun new location, I like to take the opportunity to dress up. And since we’re in the throngs of winter, what better way to dress for the occasion then in this darling multi-color faux fur jacket for date night.Â

Not going to lie, but when I initially saw this jacket, I thought it’d be a bit much for me. However, once I tried it on, I knew it’d be the perfect statement maker to add to my wardrobe. Thanks to my friends at Allen Schwartz, this fun multi-color faux fur jacket has found a new home in my closet.
The reds, blues and blacks, make for a great winter color way. I personally find myself wearing a lot of blue and black during winter, but the addition of the red/maroon makes the multi-color faux fur jacket for date night, truly pop.
Drawing from the blacks in the jacket, I went ahead and paired my go-to patent black pumps with the look. I’m a firm believer that two musts in your closet are a comfortable pair of black and nude pumps. I’ve had this patent black pair for almost five years now, and while they’re a bit taller then I would normally go for (4 inches!), they’re comfortable and classic. Stuart Weitzman makes some of my favorite shoes, and these pumps are no exception.
