Y’all, this could quite possibly be one of my favorite outfits to date. I’ve worn the combo a number of times since the temps have started to cool here in Houston in the last few weeks. When the first hints of fall arrived, I went on the hunt for the perfect Buffalo Check shirt – needless to say, Brooks Brothers did not disappoint.

In Texas, the lightweight puffer vest is a must (love this navy plaid check version and this sportier Patagonia vest via Nordstrom). I’ve worn this vest so many times, and it is ridiculously high-quality at a wonderful price! Plus, it folds up into a little 2X4 bag so I can easily carry it in my purse or car for desperate situations – did I mention I’m always cold?

Accessorizing has always been an adoration of mine, and sunglasses are part of that combo.
