Happy Friday, friends! We made it through the week! I’ve been seriously loving a denim on denim look, especially with flared jeans for transitioning into fall. I continually go back to this look and layer on a vest or a jacket dependent on the weather.

I love traveling, but sometimes being away from home for longer than a weekend is tricky, especially on a business trip. For me, NYFW was a definite business trip, and with a previous season already under my belt, I knew I’d want to stay somewhere that would feel like home and not a teeny-tiny little hotel room in the city.

NYFW // Shades of Blue
Armed in my most comfortable heels and a pair of Yosi Samra flats in my purse (just in case!), I headed to the #rsNYFW party at the Hotel Americano. It was fun to mingle with other bloggers I’d met through emails or Instagram and finally put faces to names.
