Happy Monday, y’all. Any of y’all Nordstrom cardholders shopped the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale? I’ve done my fair share of shopping, as have my family and friends.
One of the biggest questions I receive, year after year when sharing about the sale, is: what can I buy now and wear now? Not sure how you feel, but I also feel the same way, I want to be able to buy now, wear now from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2018; here’s an outfit idea to satisfy such!Â

I saw this dress while doing my online work for the blog when the sale initially began, and knew I wanted to try it on in-store. I ended up trying on an extra-small, since looking at it on the hanger the silhouette looked pretty boxy. Sizing down was definitely the best choice!
This is a budget-friendly piece that works perfectly for wearing it now, but also wearing it later. Since I entered shopping with a buy now, wear now from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2018 mentality, I knew this shift dress met my needs.
As you can see, I paired the shift dress with my metallic sneakers for a wear it now option, but could also throw over a jean jacket and wear some . Come fall, the dress would look just as cute with a or a and some fun .
I love it paired with the metallic sneakers, which I’m completely obsessed with. I’ve been wearing them non-stop since I purchased them at the sale, and now I’ll be wearing them for seasons to come. I’m usually guilty of buying cute sneakers, simply because they’re cute as opposed to the comfort factor. Well, these sneakers are both cute and comfortable!
