Welcome back from the long weekend friends! Thanks for bearing with me as I took some much needed time off to recoup and get reinspired. Back today with my go-to weekday look for the summer to fall transition, an easy dress and white sneakers.
Just because summer is ‘over’ (definitely not here in Houston!) doesn’t mean that I’m immediately busting out the sweaters and jackets. That will definitely not be for another couple of months. For us Texas gals, really Southern girls in general, we transition with our accessories.
Adding in some white sneakers into my daily outfits is a fun way to keep things casual and comfy. While I won’t be heading to NYC this season for NYFW, I want to take a moment to reminisce on this super bold outfit from last September. Still one of my favorite street style looks to date!
I know my Adidas white sneakers are going to be in my closet for years to come. I picked them up in Dubai last year and have worn them so much since (see here too). They’re so comfy and I always receive quite a few compliments on them.
In my opinion, heather grey is a nice transitional color for summer into fall. It’s still light enough for the cool weather but on the color spectrum of neutral to move into the cooler season.
