Sweater weather is finally here to stay! Lately I’ve been loving chunky and oversized knits to welcome the cooler temperatures, and this chunky ivory sweater and mini skirt combo is the perfect look for fall events in the months to come.Â

I’ve been receiving a lot of requests for budget-friendly options for the season. This chunky ivory sweater and mini skirt are each under $50 respectively #win! I was definitely skeptical about the quality of these pieces, considering the price, but even better news is that each stand up quite nicely to other more expensive pieces in my closet.
This chunky sweater runs quite large, so I sized down to an XS. As you can tell, it’s still a little big, but its comfortable! It actually comes in a handful of other colors, and I’m thinking about grabbing it in dark green.
As for the skirt, it’s the perfect length for this 5’3 gal. If you’re taller, you may have issues, but for us petite gals it’s a winner. The zipper on my skirt goes up and down smoothly and the fit is super great. Thumbs up for this mini skirt! I love it paired with booties like above, as well as some everyday flats.
