Happy Monday, folks! We had, what I hope, is our last round of cold weather here in Houston this past weekend. Hoping I can put away my sweaters and start wearing my spring and summer looks, like this effortless printed wrap dress.Â

If there ever was a dress that’s perfect for spring and summer, it’s this darling one by Vineyard Vines. And good news, it’s on sale! I took my regular size and it’s perfect for everyday wear, whether with a pair of sandals for a casual look or a little more dressed up, like I did with my espadrille wedges.
There’s something about a wrap dress that is both classic and effortless. I just love the silhouette, and while it may not be flattering on everyone, it’s definitely flattering on a handful of body types. This one in particular is not a total wrap dress, where it opens in the front and closes with a complete wrap, but instead a full dress that has a ‘wrap panel’ on the front. I actually like this style a lot better, as it keeps you from worrying and adjusting it every so often.
I’m all for blue, it’s one of my favorite colors, and this blue printed dress paired with the pale blue top-handle bag is just totally my type of outfit. Some people might think wearing the same color throughout an outfit is outdated, but I like the combo with different shades of the color. Plus, if you only do two or three pieces as opposed to all of the pieces you’re wearing, you still have room to breathe.
Wishing you a great week ahead!

I really need to get myself a wrap dress, they look so flattering. And I really like how you went for a bag in the same colour as the dress but not exactly the same, I think it looks cute.

That dress is adorable! I love the purse and shoes with is as well. It doesn’t hurt that you are so tan!
