Fearless Female: How Girl Wonder Life Came to Be

A lot of readers have asked to hear my story over the past few years. I’ve shared bits and pieces in a few different posts throughout the years, but never have I totally touched on the story behind Girl Wonder Life in a complete post.

However, it’s taken me so long to share this post, because every time I’ve tried to write it out, it became an endless story that just rambled on and on. So, when I was approached by Olay to showcase fearless females, I knew this was the perfect time to finally share my story with y’all.

I preface my story by saying; I know I am not alone in facing bias or adversity as a female. I’d even venture so far to say that we all, female or male, face adversity at some point in our lives, right? But, I’ve found that reading or listening to others’ experiences with adversity helps to bring my own struggles back down to earth.

Teddy Roosevelt once said, “Nothing in the world is worth having or doing unless it means effort, pain or difficulty…”

Anything worthwhile in life takes some sort of effort, and half the fight is not getting discouraged when you’re facing some sort of uphill battle!

Girl Wonder Life didn’t come easy. But if it had, I may have moved onto something different by now. My fearless female attitude, compassion for my brand and small business coupled with a desire to succeed has fueled me to find success within my little corner of the Internet.
