Let’s kick off the week with some fun Fourth of July inspiration. I love a good Americana look. I guess that’s the prep persona in me, but I definitely took this look to a little more edgy place than I would normally opt for. It’s been fun to push the boundaries of my usually classic style a little bit more. After all, what’s the fun in fashion if you don’t push your own envelope every once and awhile?

I had so much fun stepping out of my comfort zone by topping this fun candy stripe dress with a braided jean vest. Paired with some cheeky heart sunnies, you’ve got the perfect Fourth of July look without even looking like your trying! That’s my favorite part; some July 4th looks can be just so… literal. But paired with a comfy pair of espadrille flats (what I’ve been living in this summer) you’ve got a cute look for an American holiday or just a regular day of summer!
