I’ve always loved great pieces of art but never really known what to do with them. When the gallery wall became all the rage, and every time I logged onto Pinterest I’d repin three or four inspirations (at least!), I knew I had to embark on the task of creating my own.
Being in an apartment, I can only do so much with my decor. There are lots of stipulations that keep me from having too large of wall decor or heavy pieces that would require more than just a single nail. I’ve accumulated my gallery wall pieces over the past year or so.
The latest addition to my wall, that I found to be a tad lopsided, lacking on the left-side, is this really cool abstract piece called Intermittent; a limited edition run by Smudge Design. What’s really cool about Minted is it’s a one-stop shop. Part of the hassle for me in getting my gallery wall together, was finding the right frames and mats after I acquired the pieces I wanted to put up on my wall. That took quite a few months to gather those pieces together, get my art and illustrations into the frames and decide if they looked how I envisioned.
With Minted, easily find the piece(s) you like best, choose the size(s) you’d like to order then you can opt to have the piece framed, for an extra cost (in my opinion, so worth it!), to have it arrive ready to come out of the box and into your home.
Another awesome thing about Minted is their support for smaller, localized talent and artists, whom may not have been discovered otherwise. Renee, the specific designer behind my piece, is a graphic designer from California! I definitely have Minted at the top of my list for any future purchases I might make when it comes to decorating my home, and may even add on to my gallery wall in the future.
