It had been downright freezing here in Houston. Layering has been essential to my daily wardrobe, but I mean it hasn’t really helped too much, because I’m still cold most of the time. The dull weather has had me dressing in neutrals – i.e. blacks, greys and whites (see here & here)… and quite frankly I’m okay with that.

I’ve had my Stuart Weitzman boots for a few years now, and they are one of the best investment pieces ever. I’ll let you in on a little secret, I actually found these beauties at Neiman Marcus Last Call, I love to hop in there every once and awhile and snag some great deals, plus online they’re usually having insane sales (love this Weitzman quilted riding boot pair)! Saks actually has quite a few different Weitzman pairs on sale right now. Houston friends, if you haven’t made it to BLVD Place yet – you need to! These photos were shot right outside the new Whole Foods which is a mecca itself. Plus a must try is True Food Kitchen (the edamame dumplings are delish) and if you’re in need of makeup head to Facade, one of the best boutique makeup shops in town. xx
