Happy New Year friends! Cheers to 2015! I am so thrilled to usher in this new year, as last year was a particularly hard one for me. I don’t usually get too personal on my blog, but last year I struggled quite a bit with personal turmoils (especially adapting to real-world, post-grad life…) and losing not one but both of my grandfathers towards the end of the year. It has been seriously tough forging on with both Luis and my grandpa, Rich, no longer in my life. However, they were both so proud of what I had accomplished, and was beginning to accomplish in my personal life, and especially here on this little outlet of the interwebs that I call my own.

So with that, let’s swing forward to 2015, shall we?! This Massimo Dutti vest was a major find in their Georgetown shop on a work trip this past fall. I’ve worn it countless times and it’s just so snuggly and chic. While it’s no longer available, I am seriously loving this similar Ralph Lauren belted vest or a similar look accomplished by an ivory open front cardigan.
