Whelp, I brought the ice and snow back with me from Lake Tahoe! We had/are still having the strangest weather here in Houston. Freezing cold temperatures with ice, sleet and snow. Needless to say these cold and dreary days call for a brightly colored hot pink mock neck sweater, am I right?Â

To be perfectly honest, I feel like sweaters don’t really hold up from season to season. I only have 2-3 cashmere sweaters that I’ve kept for multiple years, all my other sweaters usually pill or have small holes by the end of winter. Because of it, I tend to not spend too much on my sweaters, and look for pieces that are on-trend and budget-friendly.
Of course in the cold winter months, colors definitely draw my eye. I saw this hot pink mock neck sweater and knew I had to have it. I went with a small and it fits perfect. The best part too, is this sweater is super warm, perfect for layering on colder days, AND it comes in nine different colors!
I’ve been eyeing the cobalt blue and red; the red would also be perfect for Valentine’s Day. I may even call this my Valentine’s Day sweater, as it’s the perfect shade of pink for the occasion. Hope you’re staying warm out there!
