Will You Be My Bridesmaid?

To be perfectly honest, I haven’t been in a lot of weddings, but when I thought about what I wanted to gift my bridal party, I knew I wanted it to be something practical. I asked all my bridesmaids to be a part of my bridal party verbally, but then I followed it up with a unique gift. Here’s my simple and easy idea for how to ask your bridal party to be a part of your special day.  My bridal party is smaller, only five gals. Four out of the five gals are actually traveling to Houston to be in my wedding, so it seemed fitting to fit them a chic leather luggage tag for their travels.

I chose to personalize each of the luggage tags with their first name initial embossed on the white gold leather.

Rick went on his bachelor party quite earlier than I went on my bachelorette, so as a little gift to his groomsmen, I also gifted them traditional British tan leather luggage tags for their trip to Miami. So for now how to ask your bridal party to be a part of your wedding. As I mentioned earlier, I asked my girls initially to be a part of the bridal party verbally. Following-up my ask with a small gift was a small token of appreciation for saying yes.

For the supplies to package up the luggage tags, I spent approximately $25. I like heading to The Container Store for upscale gift packaging. Their prices are a little higher than other stores, but I enjoy the selection and always find what I’m looking for.

For my own sanity, I’ve been keeping tack of all my wedding to-do tasks with my ‘Little Notes’ pocket notebook. I actually keep it in my purse every single day to mark off to-dos and write down anything that I come up with while on the go.
