Winter is here and it’s time to pull out those trusty coats and jackets to stay warm. My favorite has to be my J.Crew stadium cloth cocoon coat in cobalt blue that simply goes with everything.

I admit, I originally gravitated towards a camel, black or navy when initially looking for a coat, however I tried on this gorgeous cobalt, jewel-tone color and fell in love. Needless to say it’s been in my rotation for more than a year now and I won’t be turning back (last seen here and here).

A cocoon coat is a great fit for so many body shapes. I’m only 5’3 but still stuck with a regular size and as you can see it’s not too long and the sleeve length is perfect. I love the simplicity of the coat as well, not too much riffraff going on with embellishments, as its color simply speaks for itself.

I actually adore the wine color so much, but it comes in other great colors, both colorful and neutrals.
