It may be officially Fall, but it sure doesn’t feel like it here in Texas. I never really realize how much I miss fall until it’s that time of year and the heat & humidity index is still killer. For those of you who are already experiencing fall weather, cheers to you, but in the meantime, I’ve rounded-up some of my Fall 2015 Must-Haves for you!
Looks like I’m inspired by a combo of the Pantone color of the year, Marsala, as well as a continuing trend on the Runways at NYFW earlier this month – fringe. I absolutely love a pop of color, and what better way to bring that to a fall outfit than with a pair of Marsala hued sunglasses from ssense; seriously simple, understated and chic.
There’s no going wrong with a classic pair of suede booties. I picked up my pair of Rag & Bone Newbury booties last fall and love them (I went up half a size to be able to wear a little thicker sock with them). My pair has a zipper pull, but I love how this black suede pair has elastic side gussets for an understated look.
I’m really loving gold accessories to mix with metallic statements. I’m personally not scared to mix metals – silver, gold, rose gold – I enjoy it. I had the chance to check out the Julie Vos showroom while in NYC and fell in love with her latest fall collection. I’m from Texas too and I want it desperately to be fall but the weather seems to think it’s still summer! Love your picks. I wonder if the weather will take a hint if I start dressing like it’s fall!
