The idea of dressy shorts is so phenomenal. They’re super transitional! Wear these shorts in the spring and summer with bare legs and sandals or wear in the fall with over the knee boots.

I love the look of these Maje wide leg shorts, they’re a true cranberry color that’s oh so pretty. My best friend from home, in Arizona, recently introduced me to Maje, and I couldn’t be more obsessed. It’s a rather fashion forward brand that is still budget-friendly (ish), but if you find it on sale then it’s definitely worth the plunge! Houston ladies, they now sell this brand at our local Saks.

Paired with simple black and leopard or a statement top as I did at New York Fashion Week (coming soon), you’ve got a simple dressy shorts look that’s perfect for a day or evening plans depending on the occasion. This look would be super easy to throw a black blazer (budget-friendly option here) over if the weather permitted. With the off the shoulder, I’d just pop the blazer over my shoulders and not stick my arms through the arm holes for a chic, cape-like look.
