Can you believe it? Festival season is back again, here for another year for our enjoyment of the outdoor music scene! Of course us gals want to be on our festival dressing A-game, but did you know Target is your one-stop shop for the perfect festival look?
Maybe it’s just me, but my days at Austin City Limits were filled with either rain or sweat and sunburns. I personally sought out certain pieces to curate my festival wardrobe that would be both comfortable and lightweight. What I love about music festivals is the ability to get super creative with your look. If I head out to a festival for an all-day affair, I want to be in shorts and a lightweight tee. Layer your bathing suit underneath for no fear of dealing with sweaty or wet undergarments.
The burnout v-neck is perfect for any festival – totally on trend and so comfy! Tuck it in with some cotton, drawstring printed shorts and flatforms for a dark and moody look that still stays true to the core. Now, speaking from experience, I often have one day at a festival where I don’t head out until later in the afternoon. Usually on that day, I wear my most boho-chic look – something that I can dance and have fun in, and feel super cute and festival-ready. Enter the bright and bold maxi dress that flows in the wind and moves with ease.
Again, I layered a bikini top underneath my maxi for a little more coverage. Toss on a great pair of statement earrings and sunnies, and you’re ready for a day filled with great music and eats.
Are you headed to a festival this season? Maybe you’re going to Coachella this month or Lollapalooza later this summer. Well, I encourage you to try your own take on the dark and moody easy look or bright and bold festival style this season.
