I’ve definitely enjoyed my shopping this year, as I’ve gone into the sale with a more discerning eye for what I need and what I could pass on. Yes, it’s still so hot here in Houston, but honestly it’s just as freezing inside everywhere, too. I almost always bring a sweater or a shawl with me, because I’m always cold in the a/c. For me, style staples included a great sweater I can wear all year around.
Last year I grabbed this and still wear it all the time, it’s totally worth the price tag! But this year I came across this and with a price tag of just $50, I knew it would make for the perfect closet staple.

I always dress for the temperature indoors so that means lots of sweaters for me at my office job! Really cute look. I like the cutouts on the boots a lot. Looks like you had some great Nordstrom Anniversary Sale finds!
