My second season back for NYFW and I had to come back in black. I mean it was a seriously dreary day, raining and drizzling throughout, my first show was bright and early and there was no point of even trying to salvage the frizz in my hair. Roll with the punches people, am I right?
Of course I had to pull out a little BCBG Max Azria for my first show to kick off the NYFW season. This fringe jacket is a mild obsession and I have no doubt it can be styled in so many ways. P.S… it’s on sale!!
For me, their is something very tried and true about dressing in black – it’s a staple – so why question it? Plus in the concrete jungle, full of rain, I liked my chances of going with the overall look and feel of the day.
Headed over to Leanne Marshall it definitely started drizzling a little more, of course I wasn’t prepared with an umbrella. But I made the best of it.
Just a subtle pop of color against the concrete and metal was exactly what I was going for. My little furry keychain friend and some amazing bows on toes heels I picked up in Dubai, I was seriously ready to continue conquering day one of NYFW.
