Lights, camera, action! Oscars weekend is here, are you ready to watch the swanky awards show in style? Time to gather up your friends, mark those Oscars ballots and grab copious amounts of popcorn. Read on for four Oscars viewing part ideas that will make your get together one to remember!

Never overlook the details. I chose to go with a black, white and red + sparkles theme, keeping in mind with the glitz and glam of Hollywood and cinema. Even simple touches such as the paper popcorn ‘cinema’ holders or the glitzy wine glasses, your Oscars party guests will appreciate the details, even if they weren’t expecting it.
The black and white cookies are a nod to some of the best dressed fashionistas on the red carpet… who can forget Julia Roberts’ black and white dress she wore the year she won for best actress? Plus I also love how these cookies make me think of penguin suits, aka tuxedos.
2. Ballots at the ready
Make sure your party guests are interacting with the show and other friends with some fun Oscars printable ballots. Whether you’ve seen all the best pictures nominees or not, it makes for a fun little competition amongst party goers, and you can up the stakes with a few prizes such as bottles of wine or $5 gift cards.
3. Pop, fizz, clink
Serve your guests some mighty fine drink options including vino and bubbly rose. I love doing the canned sparkling rose at parties because it’s easy to drink and a no hassle mess. You can also mix up some fab drinks based off of different Hollywood classics, such as a shaken, not stirred martini a la James Bond. I always have both red and white wine on hand for the wine drinkers. Fun, make it that much more fun to drink!

No need for a party foul, or best picture mishap from last year’s show.
