Ready to jetset? I’m definitely not – but trying to attempt to at least look ready for my trip to Dubai this weekend with an overseas travel style post. I figure flying for 15 hours I need to be layered and comfy, right?
I figured this wall was super fitting (and way cool) for a post centered around overseas travel style. What do you wear for long flights? In the states I usually wear jeans and a long sleeve tee or sweater, but since my photographer Lauren and I are flying overnight, I want to be comfortable. Plus I’ve never been on a plane that hasn’t been frigid!
As for now, I plan on sticking to the basics – a tee, a comfy sweater, scarf big enough to be a blanket, a tote with my essentials (don’t worry, I’m still carrying on a suitcase too!) and some shoes that easily slip on and off. You’ll also find a pair of cashmere socks in my bag, a huge water bottle, sleep mask, amongst other things.
I know one thing is for sure, I can’t have any complaints when my monthly ‘friend’ comes to visit – especially with U by Kotex® Lighdays® Liners! There’s nothing more I’d rather wear than a pair of leggings && undies to make it through with confidence and comfort. U by Kotex® Lighdays® Liners stay in place and don’t have me fearing for the worst, especially on a 15 hour flight! Be sure to visit BringComfyBack.com, where you can upload your own selfie with the hashtag #bringcomfyback to potentially win monthly prizes and request FREE samples.
Do you have any recommendations on how to make a 15 hour flight? We are flying Emirates which I’m looking forward to, as I’ve heard great things. This will be the longest flight I’ve ever made, so I’m definitely a little nervous but still excited! What can you not live without on long flights?
Thanks for reading! Have a great weekend. xx

Having made this trip from Houston to Dubai many times I pack a make up bag filled with my flight goodies.
Moisturizer, lip balm, face wipes and eye drops are my main items that I make sure I pack. You may find it handy to have a travel hair brush, tooth brush and mints/gum as well. Do pack an extra set of comfy wear that you can change into as you lounge in your seat for that long flight. Enjoy flying Emirates….they are the BEST!

Your comfy travel look is still WAY more stylish than what I typically wear on long-haul flights–I’m impressed!!
I also just wanted to say hi and introduce myself–I’m a travel blogger who’s relatively new to Houston, so I love finding and connecting with other Houston bloggers. Looking forward to reading more from you!
