What’s In My Bag

In the last few months I’ve carried smaller purses as my everyday bag. I know I wonder what other gals carry in their everyday bag, so I thought I’d share what’s in my bag on a regular basis.

This adorable little Saint Laurent fringe number is definitely a little miniature, but I loved how fun it felt carrying it (my friends at Bag Borrow Steal loaned me this bag for a month!)

You won’t catch me leaving for the day without my iPhone, how I stay connected to life itself, although sometimes I admit I am way too connected! This new year I’ve adopted a personal goal to not be so attached to my phone when I am away from my desk during the work week. If I’m out on meetings or running errands I try not to check my email, and if I catch myself checking, I scan the inbox but don’t open anything until I get back home to my desktop. It’s so much harder than it sounds!!

I always carry my Louis Vuitton Damier key pouch filled with business cards (just in case! I can’t count how many times I’ve been asked for one and didn’t have them with me in the past). When carrying this bag, I couldn’t fit my regular wallet inside, so I just brought along my essentials in the key pouch.

As far as beauty items, I keep things pretty limited with a lipstick, lately I’m loving Laura Mercier’s matte formula, oil blotting sheets for those extra-long days away from home and roller ball perfume just in case! Plus a small compact mirror to check things out or apply my lipstick in a hurry.

I like to alternate out my lip colors every so often, you may also find a budget-friendly Revlon lipstick in Berry Haute, NARS lipstick in Niagra and Chanel lip gloss in Volupte for a more natural look.

Other than the above, you’ll find my car key, possibly some mints or gum and chapstick, however usually the mints, gum and chapstick stay in the glove compartment of my car to eliminate excess in my purse!
