Spring Fatigue

Spring is officially here! It’s been here in Houston for some time, but at least according to the calendars, it’s official. Ready for some spring style inspiration?

For me, I tend to not flip my closet from winter to spring clothes immediately because I’ve learned my lesson – there’s always the occasional cold front we get (like this last weekend). March is usually an interim month where honestly, my closet is a mess and has both thick sweaters and spring dresses all along the racks.

Dressing in March therefore becomes a bit of a mind game. What do I have from fall & winter that I can mix up with spring & summery pieces? Enter the fatigue green military vest (last seen here) with a spring cotton swing dress and a favorite pair of lace-up wedges (last seen here). Spring style is one of my favorite times to dress.

Add in some fun wedges – again some of my favorite shoes to wear for spring style – and a pop of color with a great handbag and you’re on point for a great spring ensemble.
