Y’all, if you had told me a few years ago I would’ve worn a bell sleeved peasant top, ripped jeans and a grosgrain ribbon choker necklace all in one outfit, I would’ve laughed at you and said, “even though I’m a 90s baby, that trend is not coming back anytime soon”… little did I know!
I am a huge fan of the bell sleeve trend; channeling my momma from the 70s! Sometimes when items are super trendy, if I’m not sure I want to completely invest in the trend I look for pieces that are less expensive and more budget-friendly. That way, if I’m not a huge fan of the trend on me after all, then I won’t feel as bad with a lesser investment.
Enter the ever popular grosgrain ribbon choker necklace. Who knew I would be donning one of these numbers decades after my Spice Girls phase! I absolutely love the simplicity though of this grosgrain ribbon choker necklace. I know it will be a chic statement with a lot of outfits and looks great when I wear my hair up in a high ponytail or top knot.
