Yes, you read that correctly… my top is from Abercrombie & Fitch. And no, it isn’t one of those things I’ve had in my closet for years, I recently purchased it – no judgments please 🙂 I was helping my 11-year-old cousin buy some clothes for our recent vacation and we went into A&F. Don’t worry y’all, it still smells the same, music pounding at a deafening beat and the employees act like they can’t be bothered. Of course as Sarah was perusing, a few things caught my eye like this little top. So easy-breezy and the funniest part about it is, I received more compliments on this top in one day than I sometimes receive in a month.
It was hilarious seeing the faces, and hearing the reactions, of gals who commented on it, and I told them where it was from. Trust me ladies, I was as floored as you were that a) I willingly went into A&F at age 23; b) I found something that wasn’t xxxxxxx-small; and c) it’s actually… really cute and on trend. So judge as you may, but I was rather thrilled with this sale purchase and completely okay with the fact that it was from A&F… I mean I can always just smile at a compliment and say, “thanks!”, right? If you can’t bring yourself to venture back into Abercrombie and relive your tween memories, I’ve picked some similar looks to shop below!

This is so funny, I was scrolling through the photos to see where the top was from and had that same reaction when I saw Abercrombie.
Really though, I’ve found some really great stuff at that store over the years! While they have a ton of teeny tiny polo shirts and graphic hoodies, they do have some pieces that are a lot more on trend and generous in cut.
