The Crushed Velvet Burnout Blouse You Need

Let’s just get this out of the way first… you need this crushed velvet burnout blouse. Not only is it universally flattering but it’s so beautiful (even more so, in person) and can be worn so many ways. It’s an investment piece, but worth it when you think about all the ways this top can be worn!

Let me begin first by sharing a little about this particular styled look. I wore this crushed velvet burnout blouse to shoot photos and later to grab happy hour, and about five different women stopped me and asked where they could buy it. Paired with the faux leather miniskirt and over the knee suede boots it’d definitely a look to remember.

These Stuart Weitzman boots are my tried and true each and every season. Yet another splurge-worthy item that’s paid for itself over and beyond. I’ve had these bad boys for years now and wear them all the time. They’re so classic and SO comfortable. I’ve worn them walking blocks in NYC and no blisters to report. Now back to this crushed velvet burnout blouse. I wore it more recently with a pair of raw hem black jeans and some heeled sandals. I felt so confident and gorgeous in the look and can’t wait to style it in more ways next year!
