Summer means vacations, right?! My family and I are big travelers, so since I’ve spent a good portion of my life on airplanes, I like to think I’ve got travel style for flights down to a T.

I’m always cold so whatever the season you can usually find me in a long-sleeve tee or a sweater when I’m traveling. I most always wear some sort of pant – more often than not, jeans. It helps eliminate something heavy in my suitcase and also keeps me warm. I’m that girl that has a scarf thrown in her bag or tied on the handle – you just never know! I’ve been on flights that are downright frigid.

Granted, I have TSA Pre so I am luck to not have to remove my shoes and whatnot, but I always wear a pair of shoes that are easy to slip on and off, just in case. Again, something close-toed and easy to walk in; usually a pair of ballet or espadrille flats.

Above all else, I carry a big tote. I usually drag along a plethora of magazines and reading material (looking for a good summer read? Get: Leave Your Mark – you won’t regret it!) I carry along my laptop, my jewelry, bits and pieces of my makeup that I can’t survive without, hand sanitizer up the wazoo and of course the essentials like my wallet, sunglasses, headphones, etc. You can see a ‘what’s in my bag’ post here.
