I’ve never really been a rule-breaker, but when it comes to fashion, breaking rules is quite fun. Enter exhibit A, the ever taboo ‘white after labor day’. Maybe it’s my growing up in the Southwest, but if you ask me, I am a firm believer that white is OKAY after Labor Day. I mean c’mon, when temps are still flirting with triple digits, it’s definitely okay to continue wearing white. Plus, I’m a fan of winter white too like this gorg Rachel Zoe sweater.

I totally agree that white is okay after Labor Day- especially with something as timeless as stripes! I think I’m putting mine away for a few weeks since I’ve worn them so much all summer, but I can’t wait to break them out in early October with cozy sweaters and cute flats 🙂
