Wide leg cropped pants

Have you ever come across an outfit in a store that you just can’t live without? This is one of those outfits. On our trip to Orange County a few weeks ago, my mom and I did a little shopping in the hotel gift shop and I brought home this fun embroidered top and pair of wide leg cropped pants. Suffice it to say, I’m obsessed.

It’s hard for me to find pants. To be honest, I usually stray away from most pants because they’re either too long, or way too long. Even the cropped versions are honestly usually too long. But I’ve been loving the wide leg look lately (last seen here), and I love the print on this pair of wide leg cropped pants. Lucky for me, they fit like a glove and are perfect for the summer to fall transition.

I love these wide leg cropped pants so much I’m already scheming up ways to carry them into fall. I’m thinking paired with a long sleeve black, grey or white tee + a long-line cardigan and some classic flats. Or perhaps I can spice things up a bit with some on-trend booties, when it finally gets cool in Houston.

I know I can even do this top too with some jeans or a skirt, under a cardigan. I’m all about outfits that have multi-functional pieces that I can re-wear for multiple seasons, and this is one of those outfits!
