Sage-infused Grapefruit Vodka Spritzer

Ingredients
  

  • 3½ oz Fresh squeezed grapefruit juice
  • 2 oz Vodka
  • 2 oz Sparkling water Could use grapefruit or lime for additional flavor
  • ½ oz Sage simple syrup
  • ½ lime

Sage Simple Syrup

  • 1 cup Water
  • ¾ cup Sugar
  • 8-10 Fresh Sage leaves

Instructions
 

  • In a small saucepan over medium-high heat, bring water to a simmer. Add sugar and fresh Sage leaves, stirring until sugar dissolves
  • Remove from heat and let cool. Once cooled, strain syrup into a container or glass
  • Add ice to cocktail shaker
  • Combine vodka, fresh Sage simple syrup and grapefruit juice and shake vigerously
  • Strain into an ice filled glass
  • Add sparkling water and squeeze a touch of fresh lime juice for garnish
